We are a team of entrepreneurs that have founded and worked in many startups, worked at incubators and accelerators, mentored hundreds of startups and students, and watched some of our startup ideas take off to great success and others fail in a cloud of dust.  We know exactly what you are going through.  We have been there and we continue to work with and in startups.

We love being entrepreneurs, and we want you to feel the same way.  The best way to have you love being  an entrepreneur is to help you be successful.  It is always fun when your company is succeeding and you are working on a project for which you are passionate.

Our goal is to guide you in the creation of your startup.  This is your idea, your company and your success.  We have a structured program to provide basic and advanced skills.  This is complemented by mentors that will assist you in dealing with the many challenges, both expected and unexpected, .

Through our experience creating companies, and working with companies as mentors and investors, we have creating a plan that helps your company achieve its goals.  We supplement our experience with research from other successful entrepreneurs and universities.

Even though the majority of our staff is French, we have a strong flavor of the American startup culture -- but just the good parts.

Our Team

John Lewis is a serial entrepreneur with 30 years of experience in London, Paris, New York and Boston.  He has experience in software startups, venture capital, programming, analytics, fund management and teaching.  He was the CEO of several successful exits from venture backed startups  – most recently Risk Control Ltd and Scrittua inc. (sold to Interwoven).  He was a quantitative portfolio manager of international funds at Putnam, Natwest and Panagora Asset Management, and quantitative analyst at the OECD and Data Resources/McGraw-Hill.  He taught finance at HEC Paris.

John is currently an adjunct professor of finance at IAE Gustave Eiffel, Mentor and Board of Advisors at the LeCamping Accelerator and Mentor at StartupWeekend. 

Frederic Dembak is the CEO of DojoCrea, the largest private incubator in France, and co-founder of DojoBoost. Prior to DojoCrea, his career was with analytical and research companies as a founder, CEO or Scientific Director. Through DojoCrea, he has extensive experience raising funds and investing in early stage companies with over 25M Euros raised. He is on the board of over 30 companies as an investor or advisor. Frederic has a MS in Financial Mathematics from Ecole Normale Superieure, Communications Masters from Institute d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and a BE in Engineering from Ecole Normale Superieure de Techniques Avancees.
