We focus on helping web-based and software startups in Paris.  During a period of 5 months, we provide intensive training, mentoring and assistance.  To aid the teams achieve success, we have a core group of 30 mentors with entrepreneurial experience who understand the pressures and demands of entrepreneurship.  After the 5 month period, we provide long-term assistance to the company through our DojoCrea incubator.

We accept up to 50 companies in two sessions per year.  We are looking for companies that have an innovative and unique project; not a copy of an existing project.  We prefer a higher level of project risk for greater levels of innovation. 

Our goal is to help entrepreneurs refine their idea, discover their replicatable business model, find clients and prepare for the next phase of their company development.  Our interest is in helping the entrepreneur create a viable company in the shortest amount of time.

Our method for assisting the startups is based on a combination of the Lean Startup model, our experience as successful (and sometimes unsuccessful) entrepreneurs and working in Accelerators.  We have a structured program where we concentrate on creating a minimum viable product that is based on the needs of clients that are discovered during a client development phase.  We work together to create a profitable business model.

Each company has a different set of needs, technology, personalities and goals.  In addition to structured training, we provide individual training and mentoring customized to the particular needs of each company. 

Entrance into DojoBoost is through a competitive process.  Each company fills out a detailed application and provides a link to their website and a short video explaining their product.  Each company that makes it to the final two selection rounds is interviewed online and in-person.  We want to know the team and understand their motivation.  Assisting the principals in the selection of the companies are experienced entrepreneurs, members of the Business Angel community and technical experts.
